Shipping
*YOUR SHIPPING & INSURANCE PREFERENCES CAN BE INDICATED BY ADDING A NOTE TO YOUR ORDER UNDER 'SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS TO SELLER' AT CHECKOUT, WE’LL BE IN TOUCH PRIOR TO SHIP TO CONFIRM & COMMUNICATE COSTS. SHIPPING IS A WILDERNESS THAT IS BEYOND OUR CONTROL, PLEASE INSURE YOUR PARCELS FOR THEIR FULL VALUE.
WE CANNOT CONTROL WHAT HAPPENS ONCE YOUR PARCEL IS HANDED TO THE SHIPPER YOU’VE SELECTED, AS SUCH ADHOC CANNOT BE HELD FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSS, THEFT, MIS-DELIVERY OR OTHER CHICANERY YOUR PARCEL MAY EXPERIENCE ON ITS JOURNEY TO YOU. BY COMPLETING YOUR PURCHASE, WE WILL TAKE THAT AS YOUR FULL & UNRESERVED CONSENT TO THESE TERMS OF SALE. ALL SHIPPING OPTIONS OFFERED INCLUDE CAD100$ INSURANCE, PLEASE TAKE CARE TO ARRANGE FULL REPLACEMENT INSURANCE.
In the event of an error by ad hoc, of course you will be reimbursed in full or a replacement sent free of charge.
You will receive an order confirmation within 24hours of placing your order. Our online store shares inventory with our physical storefront which may effect available inventory.
Shipping within Canada:
All packages are shipped via UPS and will take approximately 2-9 days to arrive. Tracking and CAD100$ insurance are included. $25 flat fee for any shipment $150 and over within Canada.
To the USA:
We very STRONGLY URGE you to insure your parcels in full. If you would like to choose a carrier other than USPS, please select ‘store pick up’ and add a note to your order. We will contact you to arrange your preferences. We will not accept responsibility for errors made by freight companies or theft.
All packages to the USA are subject to shipping charges which vary depending on the destination and weight of the package. Packages will be shipped via Canada Post which is then transferred to USPS once your package crosses the border. All applicable taxes and duties are the responsibility of the recipient and will be assessed by US customs at the border.
International:
All international orders may be subject to taxes and duties. These fees are charged by your government and are entirely separate from any shipping fees.
**Please note, packages CAN be delayed by customs, which unfortunately is not in our control. This is a rare occasion, but it can happen.**
International shipping comes with a $100 insurance and tracking number. However if you request a higher insurance coverage please do contact us

Returns + Exchanges
Returns:
For returns, please contact ad hoc via email at info@adhocpenticton.com or by phone 1-778-476-5545 to initiate a return.
ad hoc accepts returns within North America only on regular priced items that meet the following requirements:
- Return is initiated and mailed back by the customer within 7 days of delivery date.
- The item(s) is new, unworn, unwashed and in original packaging with tags attached.
- Shoes must be unworn, in their original box with all original packaging in good condition.
- Return shipping cost will be at the customers expense and the parcel needs to be sent back with insurance and tracking number.
- Package sent without tracking number will not be eligible for reimbursement.
- Please inform us of the return tracking number so that we can monitor the shipment of your parcel.
If shipping from outside Canada, please select ‘returned goods’ on the customs form to avoid duties and please include your phone number so the shipping provider can get in touch if it needs to be returned back to you. adhoc will not be responsible for any duties or taxes resulting from return shipping. Once the parcel has been received at our store, and is approved for return to our selling floor, we will then initiate the refund.
In the event of cancelling an order once the shipping label has been purchased by ad hoc the customer will receive a refund for the price of the garment minus the cost of the shipping label bought by ad hoc.
The following items are not eligible for returns:
Apothecary, scents, intimates/lingerie, swimwear, hair items, hats or earrings.
All discounted merchandise (sale items and product purchased using welcome discount code) and items shipped outside of North America are FINAL SALE.
Exchanges:
Exchanges must meet the following requirements:
- Exchange is initiated and mailed back by the customer within 7 days of delivery date.
- Available inventory has been confirmed.
- The item(s) is new, unworn, unwashed and in original packaging with tags attached.
- Any new shipping costs will be at the customers expense.
