ROEM Textiles is a small studio creating slow batch textiles, hand dyed and hand sewn from foraged & natural botanicals. The process is an art of slowing down, as it takes many hours to achieve the colours of nature. Each item is unique and embraces the beauty of imperfection. ROEM’s exploration of soft earthy hues are inspired by the wild beauty of the Okanagan Valley.
Miya McGrew is the Okanagan designer behind ROEM. With a background in Fine Arts & Graphic Design, she has always had a passion for creativity. She was raised on an organic orchard which guides her to make conscious decisions and take sustainable actions.
