Kunye is the Zulu word meaning “one."

Their ingredients are biodegradable, and our formulas are free of known toxins and irritants. All of our packaging is recyclable so you can protect your skin and the planet at the same time.

Their hope is to help people approach mindfulness in a modern way that meets the demands of everyday life, addresses our inherent need for connection and self-care, and pairs it all down to only what is best. 

Founded by Melissa Nkomo, who is trained in multiple healing arts including Usui Reiki, Clinical Pilates, mindfulness meditation (MBSR), yoga, breath-work, and somatic experiencing. Kunye operates on the Coast Salish Nations of Musqueam, Tsleil-Waututh, and Squamish.
